From NintendoAGE
Baby Boomer was the first game that Color Dreams produced. Unlike many other Color Dreams games, this game normally comes only in a light blue cart as where others came in both a light blue and black cart. However, two different carts of the game have been found. One coming in a black cart and the other in a blue cart with an upside down label (only one found thus far). Only 3 copies of the black carts have been found and they are legit as one was found in a sealed Baby Boomer recently (9/06).

Note about the prototype:

This is a very early-looking prototype from one of Color Dreams' original releases The game is housed in a case typically used for pirated Nintendo games. Where Color Dreams got this case from is unknown. It is unknown how this prototype differs from the released version; if you have information, please contact us.
From the Publisher

A seemingly ending chase sends you into a shooting frenzy to save BABY BOOMER. Contrasting worlds of terrifying critters and countless suprises in a backdrop of cliffs, canyons, and caves keeps you at the edge of your seat. Get ready to shift into high gear as BOOMER leads you from the GOLDEN PARK to the GRUESOME CEMETERY. Take your pick of escorting BOOMER up to the REGION OF HEAVENLY CLOUDS or down to the EVIL CAVERNS. From there on, panic sets in as you follow BOOMER through the CRYPTS, the MINE SHAFT, and the WATERWORKS WORLDS (if you can find them!)

Discovering secrets and tricks is part of the fun and gives you an edge over other players. Only with steady hands, split second reflexes, and a little luck can you overcome an overwhelming variety of enemies and obstacles. A surprised ending awaits those accomplished few who can complete the game.
