From NintendoAGE
Athletic World had several releases, the first one being the (now) infamous "Family Fun Fitness" (FFF) version, having a hangtab and sticker-seal box. Also note that this box is white, not gray. This is the original version that only came packaged inside the Family Fun Fitness pad (later to become the Power Pad when Nintendo bought the rights to it). Because Nintendo bought the rights to the FFF pad, the early version game and pad were pulled from shelves, effectively shortening its shelf life. As a result, the box for this version is rare. How rare is a question we're still attempting to answer, but in late 2007, at least 6-7 more appeared in collector's hands, lowering it's perceived rarity of 10 to a 9.

Another peculiar version is the "double-ended" box, where the opens from both the top and bottom (the bottom does not have the normal interlocking cardboard flaps).
