This was all the games in my safe. Might edit the list somewhat after i do some better inventory checks. This safe was over 500 pounds empty  5 foot tall 3 foot wide and cops are even amazed it was moved. It so far seems like a targeted heist of the games, time will tell. I really am overwhelmd with support from community. There are many of us collectors who show off our stuff, Garages full of games and basements and i took many security measures my wake up call has happened.

Damn that stadium events has to especially hurt. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out on eBay and Amazon for these. You never know how dumb criminals might be. Maybe they'll post a couple of these around the same time online somewhere. Or I wonder if collectors in Missouri could start posting wtb ads on sites for some of these games and see if this thief bites.

Super shitty situation, I feel real bad for you. I hope they were insured if possible, I know how many loops that has to jump through to get them insured properly. I'm honestly not surprised they were able to move the safe though. The games themselves aren't very heavy, and me and my two brothers moved a 600 pound safe into my brother's house recently, so it's a 2-3 person job at least. Was it bolted to the floor?

On a more serious note, I've played EarthBound today for so long, I feel all tense and mentally worn out.
Then you called your mother and felt better?

Wow, this is absolutely terrible to hear.

Did you have cameras installed at the location of this safe?

I'd bet money that these guys aren't some local meth heads looking to make some $$. Likely they saw the videos and came into town just to rob you.

Good luck to you though. I hope they find these guys.

Pic of SE? Any identifying features for the bigger games?

-------------------------

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at the Let's Play Gaming Expo last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Oh, my WTB thread is very popular. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, Richard craniums - they all adore it. They think it's a righteous thread.
I'd also like to add that I've got my father's gun and a *scorching* price guide for aftermarket Nintendo games.
Between Dragon Warriors and nothing... I'll take Dragon Warriors - for any of my FT/FS/FO items.

I feel sick to my stomach just reading about this. I am really hoping this will have some sort of positive outcome for you. Just try to stay positive and know that the whole community feels your pain and will do our best to help you and not let this crime go unpunished!

You post this list on AtariAge yet? That way if some of those 2600 titles start popping out of the woodwork.

Well This is terrible.

I guess if there is a silver lining at least people with high dollar collections can count on some nice media coverage about how expensive and rare video game can be.

This is sad. I'm a little curious why the question about cameras isn't get answered anywhere...$100,000+ collection containing highly sought items in a moveable safe in a public store run by a guy widely known in the online community as being overly nice and generous (target for being taken advantage of?) and a collection that you have brought multiple outsiders in to see.....a good security camera system is like $500.....that really sucks if the alarm was your only security. The cops could have caught those people in hours.

While maybe not worth as much, some of those 2600 boxes are damn near irreplaceable.

Sorry to hear. REALLY shitty someone would do this... Hopefully some of these games will be trackable... maybe the will pop up in Facebook marketplaces in the area.

How many Bonk's Adventure 9.4's are kicking around out there?

I bet WATA would be able to tell you how many they've graded like that...?

Hope all turns out.

I actually had to reread the thread to notice they were CIB games. It's incredible that they even existed all at once in one collection.

I've been going to Trade N' Games for years. Sorry to hear Jason. Easily the best and one of the oldest video game stores in the St. Louis area.
