Nice! Glad to see you are running this, Francis. Was Gwyndion just not able to keep up with his?

I don't know, he posted in that thread that he wasn't updating it anymore. It was a great idea then, so we wanted to keep it going.

Awesome. Thanks for including us!

No problem, you guys made great stuff!
Just saw this thread (Shows how often I'm looking at the forums).  Thank you so much, Fsped09, for keeping this going.  I genuinely didn't want to see it go away, but also wasn't willing to maintain the thread anymore.  I'm happy to see the homebrew/repro community continue to thrive.

I'm still around guys.  I make rare appearances on NA and I will be at the PRGE (Portland Retro Gaming Expo) this year for my second year in a row as a vendor.  I have a ton of rare homebrew/repros that I am still selling and I'm actively cataloging all of the video games, and gaming related items, that I own.  Once I have the homebrew/repro gaming list together I will post it here on NA so if someone is looking for some obscure homebrew/repro/hack then you will probably be able to pick it up for fairly cheap.

In the meantime, if anyone has any questions about any of this stuff, I'm always happy to help answer and share any knowledge I have.

You're welcome! Happy to see you're still around!

There are a lot of repro makers out there these days, I suppose you can go through the list and see which one would be best. I've removed a bunch of the people that either take forever to ship or haven't done right by their customers.

That being said, I've been working with Joe (coinheaven on NA) from The NES Dump for years. I've never had a single issue with anything he's sent me and he is super quick.

Hope this helps

Does anyone have any recommendations for high quality repro boxes and manuals? I would love to order from Uncle Tusk but he hasn't been responding to any of my messages and voicemails.

Thanks

I found an excellent repro maker online called PacNSacDave.

He has an etsy shop here:
https://www.etsy.com/shop/Pacnsac...

He has a youtube channel showing his work here:
https://www.youtube.com/user/pacn...

He is taking pre-orders for an updated ninja gaiden. It looks pretty awesome, so if anyone likes the ninja gaiden series, you may want to consider picking up this title.

If anyone is LOOKING for certain repro/homebrews, I have a running repro company thread going as well as a lot of extras myself which include Limited Editions as well.  I'm also free to help answer questions and point people in the right direction so never hesitate to ask!  Here is the current list of repro companies.  Please let me know if I need to update it:

Some of the links need to be trimmed. Eric Bishop isn't taking orders anymore and a few of the links are dead.

Never order from GameReproductions.com.

I repeat.

Never order from GameReproductions.com!

They make quality repros, but this site is the definition of unprofessional/criminal.

It has been double the quote time and I've sent around 10+ emails just looking for an update and was met with no response, rather a tacky auto-response email that underminds the intelligence of the customers. I've read other threads where the damn site takes a year plus. Pretty sure it's a scam website since the actions of the operater of the site are completely criminal according online commerece law.

Use Flashbackgames.com by Flashback Entertainment.

The quality is by far the best I've seen and I've been to multiple sites and purchased many carts.

Avoid GameReproductions.com like it avoids responsibility and common decency.

Once again. Never buy from GameReporductions.com.
F*&% that place...

Does anyone know how to get in contact directly with Game Reproductions that isn't through their website or email? I want to call them directly and speak to a person directly. Placed an order on 8/11/16, an associate contacted them multiple times, was told the order should be ready by January, contacted them again in May, was told each time they were looking into it and they didn't know what happened. Now it's radio silence. It seems to be a pattern now with this repro producer because you can search and find loads of threads with similar complaints that were never resolved. Honestly, I think his store should be pulled from this list because it does not seem to be reputable anymore. If there is a blacklist or a DNB list, that’s where this store belongs.
