Good video. I totally want a dumped version of the Super Mario Kart with the known Vanilla Ice musical differences and gameplay changes. I know it;s a longshot but I'd be willing to trade my minty Famicom Gimmick CIB and Zelda Game Boy Camera for a copy.

Also, speaking of prototypes, there is an early version of Tetris & Dr. Mario that was reviewed by Nintendo Power magazines shown in this video:

and I have some info on my twitter post: https://twitter.com/nensondubois_... as well as finding a few unused options menus that are clearly available in the prototype version but disabled in the final build for some odd reason.

-------------------------
Looking for Tiertex developed Super Game Boy game prototypes, official Nintendo developed SGB SDK demos, SNES Tetris & Dr. Mario, Super Mario Kart prototypes with known differences. Interested in other protos, NES Retrovision, CIB GB PokoNyan, Gamecube demos with case. I may trade my minty CIB Gimmick!, or other rare and valuable games / items.

If I recall correctly, the "Donkey Kong Country Exposed" promotional VHS tape has one of those horizontal prototype cartridges. Armond Williams and "Rich" are playtesters using that type of proto board with the top removed. They even point at the chips as they talk about it being the first 32mbit game.

Cool video. Very informative. On the front page.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at the Let's Play Gaming Expo last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Oh, my WTB thread is very popular. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, Richard craniums - they all adore it. They think it's a righteous thread.
I'd also like to add that I've got my father's gun and a *scorching* price guide for aftermarket Nintendo games.
Between Dragon Warriors and nothing... I'll take Dragon Warriors - for any of my FT/FS/FO items.

30 seconds into the SMB3 vid and there's already an error: do not trust wikipedia for nes release dates. (or even snes for that matter)
also you REALLY need a new microphone; i'm not sure whether it's the micrphone's fault, but it's hard to understand some words that are not enunciated well.
More work needs to be done on splitting sections up; take pauses. A consequence of how it is now, is that it sounds like you're reading from a wikipedia article; there is a very different format of how to convey information over text vs. speech, and it sounds like you haven't gotten to the point where you can write for speech.

Writing a book about the NES and Nintendo in PAL regions and Asia/Korea/Hong Kong/India/etc. Contact me if you have anything interesting about this.
