I just started playing that game and it is really fun! I was browsing the PS Store and saw this new release, after watching the trailer I bought the game. It was 17.99$ CAD and I don't regret it, it really feels like a Souls game. It's a 2D indie game, it feels like the old castlevania games and dark souls had a child. The game is quite hard, it could have been harder, but I think it's fine. I'm still in my first playthrough, I guess the NG+ mode is a little more harder. I don't want to spoil any gameplay, I will let you discover the game by yourself.

I highly recommend the game and it's perfect if the waiting for Dark Souls 3 is painful for you.

Happy gaming

I don't have a PS4 yet, but plan to for Dark Souls III, and Salt & Sanctuary may be the game that breaks my vow of never buying digital only games on a console.

I'm really digging the game. Made it past the first 5 or 6 bosses so far. I definitely think this is the perfect came to play while waiting for DS3. Everyone should at least try it.

This is a no brainer for me as I loved all of Ska Studios previous games and being a Souls fan just makes things that much better.

Heard good times about it. I just played thru the Bloodborne DLC and Demon's Souls to hype myself up for Dark Souls III so I don't know if I want to OD by jumping into another Souls-like game but this is deff on my radar. Hopefully the vita version comes out sooon (I know it is cross-buy)

I haven't really been a fan of what I've seen so far. If it goes on sale, I'll give it a chance.

The Souls inspired game I've been waiting on is EITR. It looks like it will be a blast.

I believe there is, however I haven't really looked into it. This doesn't really feel like a game I'd want to do multilayer in.

Thanks for the heads up I've been looking for something to play on my PS4 that wasn't an FPS or PS3 rerelease.

edit: if you guys like this then you might want to give "Unepic" a try.

Yes, the only difference I can tell is that the LRG release includes a physical CD while the Switch version (available on amazon, etc) includes a code to download the soundtrack.

I was able to snag a copy from Limited Run yesterday. I played the game already and I liked it. One of the better indie games I've played.
