Me and some buds figured out how to do this like a month ago and been playing some multiplayer nes and snes games. We fully tested it 4 player netplay on some Nightmare on Elm Street. You have to get a kaillera server compatible emulator. I have snes9k and nestopia. I also host my own server to play on. Let me know what you guys think or if you want in. It runs perfect, me and a bud smoked Contra Nes no code, almost beat it twice without continuing(I died on last stage 2nd time through, blew it). This is while hosting the server and the game on my machine. Should be able to use your xbox 360 controller, and I am able to use my dualshock 4 controller plugged into my PC. Snes9k the version I have has no issues with diagonals and the touchpad functions on the DS4 as a button too...I use the Dpad though. Requirements: -Identical game/rom (just make sure your partner gets it from the same source as you) -kaillera server compatible emulator , I use nestopia V 1.40 and SNES9k V1.42 with kaillera support -Same network settings(you choose this when starting up to netplay, just make sure its the same setting, typically "LAN" otherwise you wont be able to connect if its not the same). May have to set lower for lower packet transfers if you have slower internet(I havent had any issues setting at LAN) Edited: 05/07/2014 at 08:32 PM by RiverCityRansom2 |

My buddy wanted to see how I played Kung Fu on NES (I got unofficial top 5 score) and he connected and watched. PM me and I can get you my skype name and walk you through setup and such. The only thing I had issues with was on Genesis doing this. We played 3 player NBA jam once, a bit laggy, then the other time it de-synced and it wasnt showing the same gameplay as the others(i.e im shooting on my screen, on his screen im standing in the corner doing nothing). NES and SNES its been working like a champ though. |

In regard to your email, it is great to hear that you have found a copy of Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64. Perfect dark was a first person shooter game that was released in May of 2000. I personally enjoyed this game a lot during my mid-teen years since it allows for up to four players to play at one time. All the Perfect Dark cartridges were black.
I hope this information is what you are looking for. -Response I received from Nintendo customer support when I asked if they knew any thing about a black Perfect Dark cart. |

Forgot to mention and will edit the 1st post...People netplaying need to have identical game/rom.
As well I use my dualshock 4 on the emulators and it works like a champ. |

I remember kaillera being pretty amazing way back when it came out and you could get some very smooth and well synched up games within it as long as both sides had some good low ping times so the latency doesn't get ugly. I never tried SNES before but I remember digging into a few NES games that needed good reaction time like TMNT2 among others. |
