Very nice. Thanks. Not that I'm in the market for that, but it will definitely help as a reference.

Brief, illustrated and accurate. Thanks for nipping this in the bud. At least the enlightened few who stumble upon our doorstep will benefit from your wisdom.

I don't get it.

Seriously though, nice job, this should clear up any confusion for those people who actually don't get it.

Thanks for posting this after I sold my PAL copy :-)

I personally enjoy the confusion, it gives me hope I'll find a copy for peanuts one day.

That's why I included it in the blown-up PAL seal that I cropped.

Thanks Dain. Now lets stop all the future SE threads for at least a year.

I'd love to be standing next to someone the moment they find out that the PAL SE that they won for $10000 isn't even worth $500.

EDIT: And thanks for the guide, Dain.

I think this is a great idea to illustrate the differences, but I personally disagree with the use of any fixed value as we all know how easily prices fluctuate.  We've seen all kinds of forces shift the market price of certain games and considering that all PAL SEs that were listed on the European eBays have been bought, I think the price will remain inflated for a while to come.  Sure, lots of resellers are buying with the aim to make a profit, but it wouldn't surprise me if there's plenty of new interest in SE from casual gamers and collectors as well.

^I agree about not putting fixed price info, which is why I didn't put exact pricing info, just rough values (notice no value on the NTSC version).
