So this was posted in the last 20minutes on our local Craigslist.

STORE BUYOUT!!!!!!! $3000.00(Entire Stock worth $7500.00)
Video Games
300+ PS2 Games
200+ PS3 Games
500 Atari Games
500 Nintendo Games
500 Gaming Magazines
20 GameCubes

I have been in there a couple times, and most of the games are commons, but there is a lot there.
In the First pic, the Pikachu 64 is broken, the Deluxe Set box isn't in great condition. I know those are a few ticket items.

Sounds like a lot more work than I would want to do. Many of those games wouldn't go for much if you are going to part it out. Probably not a good idea. Offer $2000 and it might be worth it, but only if you have the time and patience to invest in it.

On a more serious note, I've played EarthBound today for so long, I feel all tense and mentally worn out.
Then you called your mother and felt better?

Just by the looks of it, a great chunk of games are ones you will have a very hard time selling, especially sports and such, I dunno, knowing me I'd do it and then use most games as trade fodder or sell bundles of crap.

You should talk with some of the repro makers here and see if they need commons for parts.... then it might be worth it at the $2000ish mark

I think it's gonna boil down to whether you have the time to flip that much material to earn back your investment

But nonetheless I would love to see a pic or info on the 500 magazines included. If you do buy this lot I could do biz with you, of course unless its 200 copies of EGM volume 235.

This group of people bought out another game store, got it up and running, sold some stuff, and apparently now are selling the rest.

I am a college student, and won't really have the time to sell it all until next summer if i bought it.
I am going to run down there tomorrow morning and see if i can pick up some things for cheap, but I don't see me buying it all. I would sit on it for too long before i would have time to sell.
They also have piles of n64 consoles and a handful of Snes consoles, but no cords and only a couple controllers for the Snes.

They have so many Jurassic park Carts because the previous store had good trade in value for old Nintendo stuff, but that isn't the only crazy duplicate they have. They also have about 70-80 NES copies of Bases Loaded

The file cabinets in the back, in pic 7 have a bunch of sealed sega Saturn games, also some CIB n64 games (commons). A pile of gameboy and GBA games, power glove,
they have a couple displays in the back, but they are more like cabinets with stickers on them.
There is a lot of misc stuff.

Its too costly. Plain and simple. You will not get your return investment and will lose a fair share just from looking at the pics.

From someone that owes a shop just go and get what you want out of it and let the rest go looks like to much common stuff that would take years to get rid of.

I am quite confident that they went through and sold all the really valuable stuff already and are leaving the less pricy items behind.

Always buying copies of Crystal Mine. Carts, manuals, boxes, CIB and sealed I want them all.
