Only paid $10 shipped from Japan. Can't pay $10000 for the ntsc-u version and I don't have a PAL tv so I figured this was the next best thing. What are your thoughts?

I hadn't realized this was a thing. An old NA thread from 2008 basically calls it worthless, but who knows these days. I'd certainly pick it up for $10, love the imprinted ban dai logo on the plastic.

I've never seen one before and I've held both of the "other" versions before, so that means this one is more rare right?
In all seriousness this one is super cool! I have always loved the different colors of Famicom carts and that Teal is legit (it reminds me of the Gameboy Color).
If you like it man, that's ALL that matters!

I think it's at least worth $11! I guess it might be rare... There are no active listings on eBay right now. FYI it's Japanese name is "family trainer 2: running stadium" I don't have the pad or else I would make kthrower do a let's play video with me

Neat. Never seen that before.

Makes me wonder, what is the most valuable Famicom game? I think gold punch out cooled down quite a bit, is it just Gimmick that's the big one?

I bought one from here for $5 I believe. They aren't that hard to find, you just have to use the right search terms.

I bought mine 2 years ago for $17 shipped from Japan, $10 shipped is as good as it gets, I imagine shipping would cost about $5 so doesn't get any cheaper than that.

so it seems rare, but not valuable because of lack of demand. I need to go ahead and get the pad

I wouldn't say it is rare, but I guess if you really want to just play the game on a legit cart, a Famicom version is the way to go.

It's not rare at all. Some of the later power pad games on Famicom are much rarer than this overrated turd, lol.

Rare Famicom games needed for a full set? Stuff like Tailor-Made, Safety Rally, Kung Fu.

Personally I think it's awesome! I'm gonna try to snag a copy just for the novelty factor :-)

Hell Bonk, which is an actual playable game, is only $25-$30 for the Famicom version vs $450-$500 for the US. And it looks cooler :-)

Yep. I have an everdrive, but I'm slowly getting some heavy hitters on Famicom. Got a Running Stadium, Gourmet World (aka Panic Restaurant) and a Seirei Densetsu Lickle (aka Little Samson) coming in from Japan in a couple weeks to add to my mario set, Zelda, MTPO, FC Genji (Bonks Adventure)and some of my favorite Namco games. There's a few more than I'll be going after once those come in the mail. Famicom is so much ascetically pleasing than our grey. Arts
