Yes you fucking do!

We need to find a time where we can all meet up, because I'm curious about all of the differences.  Plus, I think I owe you guys some beer or something...

We should really rally the troops soon. I have April break right around the corner.  I should hit up Tom and Adam and see what's up.

I have a TON of new prototypes that are all "hush-hush" at the moment, and you boys are welcome to get first looks.  There's also an insane pinball place not far from here in Southern NH that would be the perfect meetup spot.

Sounds good!  I'd be up for anything, but yeah rally the troops.  I still would like meet Tom!

First off, I just kicked the shit out of this game, even though it's substantially harder than the NES version. Still got it baby!

Second, the copyright issues are epic throughout this one. There is on average one slam dunk law suit per level.

I'm sooooo ready for this to happen!

I guess the boss fight reference to the Little Shop of Horrors was just a hint at what lied within that game.

Oh, totally the tip of the iceberg. Every other example is way more mainstream.  So many great horror movies are honored throughout.

There are countless bosses that were replaced in NA and not in Japan.  A lot of the sprites for these characters were left in, but they don't make any sense due to the lack of context.  In the Famicom release, everything meshes together perfectly. There are also a ton of regular baddies that underwent serious sprite changes due to copy write issues.

I'm working on some new things for this release that people haven't seen in repros yet. I don't want to jinx it, but things are moving in the right direction.  Like our last release, you can expect all new parts this time around too.

Exciting news all around.

Very cool, I was following the news over on Famicom World. I'd certainly be down for a Famicom-style repro cart.

Thanks!  I had to create an account in order to check the thread out, but I've been meaning to register there for some time.

I just posted about the game there, and plan on updating both here and there.

I am very much looking forward to this release (I'm a new guy here, but have been on Famicom World for a while). Sign me up for a repro - either NES or Famicom, I don't care which. I've been dying to play this for years and will gladly pony up the cash to be able to do so!

First of all, congrats on getting this unique piece of Famicom history. Second, thanks way in advance for not only intending on releasing the ROM, but also for this whole repro thing! I don't know if you're already compiling a list of interested parties or if you'd rather wait until plans are more set in stone, but I'd absolutely be interested in purchasing one of those Famicom reproductions. I'm blueskyrunner here, and skyrunner14 over on Famicom World. Again, this all is really cool of you and your brother!

Sign me as well to the repro, wheter it will be NES or Famicom style. I actually tried to convince severeal times famicomcafe to release Prototype No.1, but he just said, that he doesn''t have permission , and he doesn't even wanted to share information about it. Famicomcafe is just such a douche! X(

We are definitely going to do a 72 pin version for certain, and they'll once again use all new parts. The goal is to release a Famicom version as well, and we are diligently working on sourcing materials to make that a reality.

Oh, not cool my man. It might be a good time issue a public apology to the seller.

If there does wind up being a Famicom repro, I must say that I would certainly be interested!

Bitchin news to hear and judging by the extras from your Chuck repro release I'm really excited to see what this will include.
