Impressive work as always, Brock. Personally, I hated Fatal Fury on SNES and find World Heroes to be an imminently superior port. But that's just me. Blues Brothers is a guilty pleasure for me. Many like to rag on it but it's got a rather interesting 2 player co-op mode due to the interaction element between players.

In the post e-zine era, your reviews are what keep me coming back to the site, Brock. I have to check in periodically, and it's always exciting to see another Roman numeral posted. Just wanted to chime in with my thanks and encouragement.

Also, is it just me or does Jim Power resemble John Elway on that cover?

VIII might be even further out than I thought. I'm playing through something that may end up being the longest game in the library and it has delayed my writing more than I anticipated

Finally got to read through this bad boy, some great stuff as always Brock. Glad to see some games I play more often on here and getting your specific attention to detail playing 25 year old games. Thank you for this.

On a more serious note, I've played EarthBound today for so long, I feel all tense and mentally worn out.
Then you called your mother and felt better?

Of the games listed I'm most familiar with Jungle Book. I've played and beaten it a number of times over the years as it was one of the few games I had as a kid (and I really love The Jungle Book).

Most of my disagreeing with your list basically comes down to personal nostalgia as the driving factor lol.

Yeah, that's gonna happen more and more here soon. Real soon in some instances...

Super Ninja Boy was the first where I was like "how could this possibly be ranked SO LOW?"

I could see though how not growing up with it you'd not have a fondness for it. My brother and I played together and were kids at the time. The novelty of a mixed RPG/Beat em up game was hugely fun for us. Being able to hit each other added some fun to it Hehe.
